The accommodation at Lon Y Traeth is second to non. Everything you could think of is provided. As for the breakfasts, there is a fantastic variety and as much as you want. I have now stayed in both rooms and they are equally great.

If you are looking for a B&B in the Pentraeth / Red Wharf Bay area of Anglesey, you would be hard pressed to find better.

Situated in an ideal place for exploring Anglesey and surrounding area the accommodation was definitely 5 star. The hosts Gerry and Annie are very accommodating. The room was beautiful with complimentary toiletries included a new toothbrush, toothpaste and body scrubs in case we had forgotten anything.

The surroundings were very quiet with beautiful gardens and a beach a short walk away but not as close as the village pub. The breakfasts were exceptional with lots of choice. Overall A brilliant place to stay

The room has so many fabulous little touches, it makes your stay as memorable and comfortable as it could possibly be, even a very thoughtful basket of essentials in the bathroom in case you'd forgotten anything.

Beautiful bed linen, towels, dressing gowns and locally produced toiletries. Breakfast carries on this superbly indulgent theme, a fantastic selection of cold buffet items and hot breakfast perfectly cooked to order. It's a fabulous place, a real treat, restful, calm and luxurious.

The welcome, room and breakfast were all a treat. If you are visiting Anglesey don't hesitate to book.

This was our second stay and it was exceptional.
Gerry and Annie are perfect hosts, friendly, fun and very knowledgeable of the Island’s beautiful places. The bed and breakfast is spotlessly clean and the decor etc is lovely. It is obvious that this couple have an eye for detail and perfection.

The tasty treats, some home baked are a great touch and breakfasts choice, presentation and taste are outstanding.
Everything you need is provided and you can be sure that when we visit Anglesey again we will be coming here.

This is a lovely B&B. The attention to detail in the rooms is incredible - from a mini-bar with fresh milk and chilled water, to board games and puzzles in the room.

The hosts were lovely and very welcoming. The breakfast was delicious - I don't think we could fault anything there - would thoroughly recommend it.

Although we’re not big breakfast eaters, there was still a lot to choose from. They gave us plenty of information & recommendations for where to go & places to eat. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Must say this is a lovely B and B made all the extra special by the owners Annie and Gerry. Warm welcome, lovely rooms and a much better than average breakfast. Add to this the welcome shortbread, the cake, the coffee maker and this really is a home from home.

Great base to explore the island and nip back to the mainland if you want too. Could I recommend it? Absolutely without hesitation.

This is probably the best B&B we have stayed in. Our room was immaculate and spotless, the bed super comfy with so many lovely extras. The area is quiet, but central enough to explore the island and there is a good pub down the road, Chinese take-away, petrol station with mini supermarket etc so plenty of access to anything you need. Also less than a mile to Red Wharf Bay.

Our hosts Gerry & Annie were so lovely, they truly spoilt us with their kindness, surprise treats, advice on restaurants and basically couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was amazing, spoilt for choice and to a very high quality. If we find ourselves back in this area we would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely bed and breakfast. Our second visit, and definitely not our last. Annie and Eddie are perfect hosts and have great attention to detail during our stay. We stayed in the deluxe double room. Bed is very comfy, room is quiet and had very peaceful night sleeps here. 

Breakfast is good with a varied choice available. The waffles and fruit are amazing and so are the cooked pancakes with a choice of syrup. Annie's home baked goodies are delicious 
A great place to base yourself to explore Anglesey and North Wales.

What an amazing place to stay, better than a 4 star hotel

Quite simply one of the best B&B stays we've ever had. Fabulous attention to detail - everything thought of in terms of room layout and items provided. Brilliant breakfast and optional packed lunch - we felt like we'd really been taken care of.

Great location close to Traeth Beach and within 40 min walking distance to Red Wharf Bay. A good night's sleep. And lovely hosts. Thoroughly recommend

Everything was perfect! The room, food & hosts! Our room was spotlessly clean. It looked like we were the first guests to ever use it! The beautiful decor made it feel so homely. Loved the huge bath & walk in shower. The room was so quiet.

 Annie cooked us homemade shortbread & muffins on our arrival & on return after a day out walking. She even made gluten free ones for my coeliac husband, they were gorgeous! Breakfast, there was a huge choice of freshly made food each morning—all lovely. Annie & Gerry are the perfect hosts. Thank you both for a really enjoyable stay. Xx

Place was spotless, food fantastic and the hosts were really helpful nothing was any trouble to them. Car parking was a pleasure having lots of space.

We've just returned from an exceptional stay at Lon Y Traeth and can confidently say that we will be back again in the next few months! We found this beautiful B&B when searching for a last minute NYE stay in Anglesey and couldn't have been more delighted with the whole experience.

The house itself is exceptional, so homely yet modern and incredibly spacious. Annie and Gerry have gone to unbelievable lengths to make your stay comfortable - from complimentary bubbles and multiple chocolates and snacks, to the fantastic coffee machine with 1000 flavours, to the super soft dressing gowns, beautiful linens and other touches, it felt like home from home. The breakfast was superb with a huge range of choice and the B&B itself is a beautiful 15 minute walk down to Red Wharf Bay. We can't way to come back soon!

Annie and Gerry are the perfect hosts. The rooms are spotless, the breakfasts are perfect and nothing is too much trouble. Food allergies are not an issue (my wife is Gluten Free).

The location is also a perfect base to explore Anglesea and Snowdonia. Note sure where to start? No problem, Gerry and Annie know all the best spots and can supply the post codes so you can find them quickly on GPS. Would definitely stay again.

What a fantastic stay for our first holiday in over two years! Annie and Gerry made us so welcome and were always there to help and give suggestions for our first visit to Wales/Anglesey, not to mention the superb selection of very tasty breakfasts we had!

Our room was incredibly clean (and I'm a clean freak so that's saying something!!) and everything was so well furnished and equipped for all you could need for your stay, even down to the basket of necessities in the bathroom incase you forgot your toothbrush! Cannot fault this B&B! From the coffee machine, fresh drinking water everyday, comfy beds, Netflix and the chance to see Cyril the Red Squirrel! Thank you both for a fantastic holiday!

We have just returned from a week at Lon y Traeth and had a wonderful stay. Both rooms are luxurious with great views across the fields to the sea. There are loads of extra touches like homemade biscuits and cakes and surprise snacks. The breakfasts are delicious with a great selection.

 We took advantage of the packed lunch, which was freshly made and really tasty. The B&B is in a great location for exploring the island and there are some good eateries nearby for evening meals. Gerry and Annie are excellent hosts and go out of their way to make your stay special. We would definitely recommend this B&B.

Amazing place to stay and waking up seeing the beach is great. The breakfast was amazing.

My wife was pregnant at the time and they still helped her out and catered for her needs.

I took my Partner for an overnight stay for her Birthday. Due to her shifts it was the only time off we could get. So quality time is precious to us. Well we got lots of quality time here. This B & B would put lots of 5 star hotels to shame.

The attention to detail is second to none. Nespresso coffee machine in your room with every coffee and tea you could wish for. Wonderfully comfortable bed. Netflix on the TV. Immaculately clean. A basket in the bathroom with toothbrushes or toothpaste etc just in case you have forgotten anything. Surrounding area was quiet and very picturesque. Woke on the Sunday morning and was visited by a local pheasant landing on the roof near our window.

Plenty of off road parking. Also only 5 mins in a car from the beach which you can see from our room. The breakfast was to die for. Piping hot and of superb quality. They cter for every taste including vegeterian and vegan and everything in between. Nothing is to much trouble for Anne and Gerry. All in all a wonderful stay and we will definitely be booking again for a longer stay next time. Thank you again Anne and Gerry. You made my partner very happy on her Birthday weekend.

Having been unable to find a satisfactory 5* hotel for our first ever visit to Anglesey, my wife and I opted to stay at the fabulous B&B that is Lon y Traeth, a decision we made based largely upon the truly remarkable reviews published on Tripadvisor. Having just enjoyed three nights hospitality at the property, we fully endorse the superlatives used by the other reviewers.
